August 1 - The beginning (6 hours)

This internship is based on the financial and brand analysis of public sport companies and organizations. The study is based on the "sport wave" concept and the corporate governance in sport companies. The first day it was about a brainstorming where we defined the subjects of analysis and defining all the steps necessary to do in-depth research to evaluate possible institutional investments. In addition, I have been assigned a series of documents and websites to use to gather data (secondary data) that would help me in the analysis. The impact of the results on the field, the behavioral economy and finance, the stimuli and reasons behind investments are all primary concepts that will have to be incorporate in the report. The first step was to understand the concept of "sport wave" that is the key word that connect all the different aspects of this analysis.

The first day was all about gathering data, information and to develop a detailed plan and schedule for the future weeks, to maximize the efficiency, avoiding wasting time, trying to find the right time between classes, soccer, job and homework. The most important and useful task of the day was a case study analysis about a previous analysis of a different company made by a colleague to be able to understand what has to be the focus of the analysis and the mistakes to avoid because superficial and superfluous data or considerations are not required and sometimes take a lot of time away from more important tasks.
