This day is focused on analyzing some of the internal psychological factors that can lead investors to invest in a determined company. Analyzing again the A.C. Milan case, found out that a part of the reason behind the acquisition of the company by RedBird Capital (an American investment fund based in NY) was the values and code of ethic. A.C. Milan bases its business and sport activities on many values, but the main ones are accountability, honesty, avoid of conflicts of interests, respect of the environment and respect of privacy. This document in which there are the moral and ethical guidelines is shared across all the companies, from the managers to the employees to the players and coaching staff. Everybody has to follow these principles and work to achieve the objectives described in the mission and vision statement.
The principles reported in the code of ethics and the objectives stated in the mission statement seem to really be the focus of the company, that since many years is working to create values for the stakeholders, using always moral principles and taking into account the environment. All what has been stated by the company seems to be able to last during the next years. The company wants to become a leader in the market thanks to an innovative approach, All these aspects leveraged on the fact that the investor (RedBird Capital) wanted to recognize itself in the values of the company in a successful industry in terms od image and profits like the soccer one.
